Sometimes a pressing need arises to complete a complicated technology initiative — but against a backdrop of a specific spending limit and a well defined time line. Often, the resources required to complete the initiative are already in-house, but are assigned to other high priority projects which makes them unavailable. In other cases, a deep level of expertise is required that is not available in-house or the ability to successfully manage the project is needed only for a temporary period of time.

AbellaTech has a solid base of reference-able customers who have relied on our expertise in defining, scoping, budgeting, managing and completing technology projects on a fixed price basis. Projects contracted under a fixed price basis allow the customer to know with certainty — before the project starts, the exact cost of the project and the date upon which it will be complete. We have successfully completed projects on this basis that range from small, relatively brief engagements to very complex technology migrations.

AbellaTech also offers a "Road Map" service which has proved to be of enormous value to our customers who are evaluating the advisability and feasibility of new technology investments, have identified a need to enhance the performance and capabilities of their existing technology, or need consultation and advice in order to successfully manage a complex project that is currently proposed or underway.

The first component of this service is a consulting engagement which is carried out according to a specific methodology and which produces the second component of the service, a highly detailed and specific written document which is entitled, "The Road Map". The Road Map offers highly detailed analysis, specific recommendations, and step by step prioritization of the processes and procedures that are required for success.
